Update November 2007: exciting new sales horses added!

At Burnt Tree Farm it is our goal to promote the Trakehner breed by placing our foals with competition oriented amateurs with a desire to excel in the show ring at all the Olympic disciplines. The new owners of our foals are carefully selected with this goal in mind. We limit our foal production to one or two per year. Our breedings are carefully planned to produce top quality foals that are in demand for the hunter/jumper, eventing and dressage arenas. Our babies are imprinted at birth and handled daily. They are people oriented, willing and eager to please; easily trained and managed by amateurs.

We are a small Trakehner sport horse breeding farm nestled in the rolling hills of southwestern Pennsylvania. We are conveniently located between Pittsburgh and Wheeling, WV, only four hours from Columbus, OH and Washington D.C.; 30 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport and minutes from NS and EW interstates.
